All Davis-Standard feed screws are designed and manufactured right on the premises. Designs are based on individual customer extrusion parameters encompassing output rate, melt temperature, output consistency of extruder stability, melt homogeneity, melt quality, and power requirements.
For single screw extruders, sizes range from 3/4-inch (20mm) to 12-inches (305mm) in diameter with virtually any L/D and can be designed to fit any manufacturer's extruders. The company has feedscrew designs to match the most unique process and compounds including their patented DSBM-T TM barrier feedscrew.
